Abscess

When pus accumulates in a tissue, organ, or confined space in the bosy due to infection, an abscess forms. Abscesses may be located externally or internally, and may result from an injury or a lowered resistance to infection, The infected part becomes swollen, inflamed, and tender. The individual may also experience fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, and alernating bouts of fever and chills. An abscess can form in the brain, lungs, teeth, gums, abdominal wall, gastrointestinal tract, ears, tonsils, sinuses, breasts, kidneys, prostate gland, or almost any other body part.
Infections are the most common human diseases and can be produced by bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi.

Herbs
The following herbs are beneficial for healing abscesses and cleansing the blood: burdock root, cayenne (capsicum), dandelion root, red clover, and yellow dock root.Consuming distilled water with fresh lemon juice, plus 3 cups of echinacea, goldenseal, and astragalus or suma tea, every day is helpful. Goldenseal can also be made into a poultice and applied directly to the abscess. CAUTION : Do Not use astragalus in the presence of a fever. Do Not take goldenseal on a dailybasis for more than one week at a time, and Do Not use it during pregnancy. If you have a history of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or glaucoma, use it only under a doctor's care.
Milk thistle, taken in capsule form, is good for the liver and aids in cleansing the bloodstream. Tea tree oil, applied externally, is a potent natural antiseptic that kills infectious organisms without harming healthy cells. Mix 1 part tea tree oil with 4 parts water and apply the mixture with a cotton ball three times a day. This will destroy the bacteria, hasten healing, and prevent the infection from spreading.

Recommend
Eat fresh pineapple. Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that fights inflammation and aids in healing. Add kelp to your diet for minerals. For an external abscess, apply honey to the effected area. Honey destroys bacteria and viruses, by drawing all the moisture out of them. To cleanse the affected area, apply chlorophyll liquid mixed with water several times a day. If you take antibiotics, supplement your diet with the B vitamin and products containing friendly bacteria, such as acidophilus and yogurt. To aid healing, the blood must be cleansed and vitamin deficiencies that accompany skin eruptions must be corrected. Antibiotics kill infectious bacteria, but they also destroy the friendly bacteria that normally inhabit the digestive tract. They also, deplete the body of Vitamin B's.
